Alpha Relief Air Vents
Description
The Alpha Relief Air Vents were created to manage pressure within buildings or for air intake and exhaust applications. When the fan is installed remotely to the cowl in a ducted system, they may be employed. To reduce the possibility of waste and birds entering the structure, units are equipped with bird netting as standard.
The range includes 9 versions that can manage airflows between 0.04 and 6.0m3/s.
Features
corrosion-proof, lightweight design.
For both air intake and exhaust, the pressure losses are essentially the same.
On PFR30 and RV1 through RV6 units, bird mesh is installed as standard equipment.
Birds are prevented from accessing the unit by support guards on MRV1 and MRV2.
The 'MRV' and 'RV' units are made for kerb installation.
The 'PFR' units are designed to suit a range of metal deck roofs.
Can be mounted at angles up to 30°.
Construction
The base and cowl for the MRV1, MRV2, and sizes 1 through 4 are composed of UV-stabilized plastic. Sizes 5 and 6 have a UV-stabilized plastic cowl attached to a fibreglass base. Steel parts have a polish that resists corrosion. Guards with bird mesh are installed as standard.
Suggested Specification
The Relief Air Vents must be from the Fantech Pty Ltd.-designed and -produced MRV/RV/PFR Series (as applicable). Each unit must have bird-mesh guards and be made of UV-stabilized plastic, UV-stabilized fibreglass, or both. Steel parts must be finished with a corrosion-resistant coating.
